Jets and Bruins Linked in a Major Trade Rumour
A major rumor involving the Winnipeg Jets and the Boston Bruins has been making rounds on the web in the last few days.
Blockbuster Trade Incoming Between Boston and Winnipeg?
The Boston Bruins and the Winnipeg Jets' respective seasons ended earlier than they would've liked. After winning the President's Trophy, the Boston Bruins lost in the first round at the hands of the Florida Panthers.
It looks like the two team are working on a trade together involving Mark Scheifele.
Scheifele in Boston?
The Bruins will have to cope with Patrice Bergeron, David Krejci and probably many more departures. They'll desperately need some centers.
Mark Scheifele has one season remaining on his $6.1M contract. His NTC no-trade allows him to avoid being traded to 10 specific teams. Boston isn't on that list.
There's been speculations suggesting that the Bruins may consider trading players such as Brandon Carlo or Jake DeBrusk, and the Jets could potentially be interested in either of them.
Do you think Boston should trade for Scheifele?
