Goaltender Nikolai Khabibulin has come out of retirement after not playing for over a decade.

Khabibulin Comes Out Of Retirement At 50

Hockey News Hub, an X account that covers all things KHL, just shared that goaltender Nikolai Khabibulin has come out of retirement at 50 years old.

Nikolai Khabibulin, who is Torpedo's goaltending coach, has signed a one-way contract until the end of the season.

He'll turn 51 in January. The Russian Jagr.

Khabibulin last played for the Chicago Blackhawks in 2013 and has not played a single professional game since.

He played in 799 career NHL games with the Jets, Coyotes, Oilers, Blackhawks, and Lightning with whom he won a Stanley Cup in 2004.

He will play with Torpedo of the KHL, the team he was coaching this year.
