BREAKING: Atlanta Thrashers Returning? Major Update Provided By Insider Kevin Weekes
The Atlanta hockey scene has just had a massive development and may hint at the Atlanta Thrashers potentially returning to the NHL.
Weekes Reveals That Atlanta Is Building A New Arena
Former NHL goaltender and current insider Kevin Weekes has just revealed that the South Forsyth Project in Atlanta is full steam ahead and is now in the next stage of its process.
**Potential Expansion Update**
👀 I'm told word on the street is that the South Forsyth Project in suburban Atlanta including an Arena, is all ahead full speed with the design moving quickly and interviews for builders taking place.
The arena would be able to house an NHL team and could warrant the NHL's return to the market after seeing the success of the Atlanta Falcons, Hawks, and Braves.
This is certainly something to look out for throughout the coming weeks as they could be a leading contender for the 33rd NHL franchise.
More details to come?
