MAJOR: Top Prospect Officially Coming to Toronto
Arizona Coyotes 2nd-round pick Artyom Duda is officially coming to Toronto after getting denied by the NCAA.
Duda To Join Toronto Metropolitan University
There has been a major announcement for Canadian College hockey as defenseman Artyom Duda is joining TMU for the rest of the season.
Duda was originally the 36th overall draft pick in the 2022 NHL draft by the Arizona Coyotes and spent last year playing in all three Russian leagues.
NCAA Denies Duda's Bid To Play For Maine
Duda was initially committed to the University of Maine to play in the NCAA but was deemed ineligible to play because he played professional hockey in the KHL.
Duda will now continue his career in the Canadian college circuit and then eventually continue with the Coyotes down the road.
