NHL Insider Chris Johnston first reported the news, stating both Timmins & Dewar are being moved to the Penguins, traded from the Leafs to Pittsburgh, the current team of Toronto's former GM, Kyle Dubas.
The trade gives GM Kyle Dubas two fairly young though not impressive depth pieces. There is potential for both men to find their footing in Pittsburgh, and only time will tell in that regard, but it's a nice bit of business for Toronto's old GM to take on some scraps to get a deal done.
