Toronto Maple Leafs forward Steven Lorentz has shared some insights ahead of playing on the road against his former team, the Florida Panthers.

Lorentz won a Stanley Cup with the Panthers last season, along with fellow current Leafs Oliver Ekman-Larsson and Anthony Stolarz, the latter of whom is currently injured after colliding with a former teammate in Sam Bennett and is uncertain to play for Toronto in Game 3.
Heading into this match now as the road team with a 2-0 series lead, Lorentz has made clear that defeating the Panthers will be no easy test and outlines the difficulty that will come with playing in Florida.
They're just not going to roll over. They'll have push-back and try to feed off the energy that building,» Lorentz said, describing the atmosphere of the Panthers fans at home.

Lorentz also mentioned the extra cold of the Panthers' stadium as something that is different. «It's cold in there. It has to be because it's 110°F outside.

Toronto Maple Leafs Tasked With Silencing Highly Passionate Florida Panthers Fanbase

For the Toronto Maple Leafs to be able to shut down the Florida Panthers, they'll need to quiet the electric crowds that come out at Amerant Back Arena for the hometown Panthers.
Toronto has the advantage of a 2-0 series lead, but will need to carry on the momentum at home without the Leafs fanbase behind them.
The Leafs have a 25-13-3 record on the road in the regular season, not far off their home record of 27-13-1, showcasing that they can play just as well away from Scotiabank Arena.
Florida won the season series against Toronto 3-1, with the Panthers winning both their games at home.
Without their starting goalie in net who has experience with Florida's system and advantages, Steven Lorentz will be one of the players most relied upon in understanding how the Florida Panthers can be beaten, at how Toronto can do so on the road.
