Maple Leafs Get a Major Boost With Four Key Players Back at Practice

With the team reeling from several injuries to key players, practice on Monday saw a great sign going forward.
Ahead of the Maple Leafs full practice, the team saw their injured skating once again as Chris Tanev, Scott Laughton, Joseph Woll, and William Nylander all took the ice to get some reps in before the full practice.
It is a massive boost to the team who is coming off a win on Saturday and could use all the help they can get going forward, and getting these key reinforcements is only going to strengthen the lineup and with how certain players are coming into their own; it could pay off huge.
Key Players Return as Maple Leafs Start Finally Healing
It is not confirmed whether or not any of these players will be participating in the full practice with the team, or are going to leave the ice before it starts, however just their presence along is a fantastic bit of news.
Woll has been out since the beginning of the season due to personal reasons and just was put on the LTIR earlier this month.
Key Players Return as Maple Leafs Update Their Projected Lineup
The lineup has been in flux since these injuries occurred and perhaps once they come back to the ice full time we will finally get some semblance of normalcy and consistency when it comes to lineup construction.
Speaking of lineup construction, the team put out their practice lines that could give us a glimpse into Tuesday's affairs, with Nylander scheduled to rotate in and out:
We also get waiver claim Sammy Blais skating with the team after being an extra in every practice since coming over, and we may see him make his debut in place of
Calle Jarnkrok; who is seemingly the one who fluctuates in and out.
There is no guarantee that Nylander will play in tomorrow's game but the fact he is rotating in and out with
Bobby McMann is a good sign, and we get
Easton Cowan lining up with Nic Roy and
Dakota Joshua which can hopefully bring some more chemistry with time.
Also Nick Robertson earns a spot on the top line again after finally getting his first goal and looking fairly solid for the first time all year.
While players like Woll
can't return until November, there is a chance we see Nylander suit up on Tuesday against the Flames, and Tanev may appear as well if all goes well.
For now though, it's a great sign that the team is getting healthier, which means their early season struggles may be behind them and it's full speed ahead going forward.
