Unexpected Scene in Toronto as Fire Alarm Stops Marlies Game
Fans who took part in watching Sunday's game between Belleville and Toronto were in for a surprise when an unexpected fire alarm caused a delay in the contest.
Typically, when two teams face off against each other, the only noise tends to be the crowd giving their team, the opponents, referees etc. a piece of their mind whether it be a positive or negative thing.

However fans taking in the Toronto Marlies and Belleville Senators game were treated to the unexpected when with 9:46 remaining in the first period a sudden fire alarm went off inside Coca-Cola Arena:
Apparently, it was a false alarm however, as after investigating there was found to be no issues and fans were allowed back with the teams given a brief warmup period:
Thankfully this was nothing more than just an accidental occurrence and while we have no idea what caused the alarm, the fact that everyone is alright is the main thing.
It isn't the first time that an AHL game was paused due to a fire alarm as back in 2015, the San Jose Barracuda experienced a similar incident:

The Marlies themselves didn't seem to deterred by the brief pause in action, with them pouring four goals on their inter-provincial rivals, however it was Belleville who got the last laugh with a 5-4 shootout win.
