The Philadelphia Flyers goaltender Carter Hart has been heavily implicated in Team Canada's 2018 World Juniors scandal, and has officially been asked to surrender to London Police.

While the team had placed him on a leave of absence, as of Thursday, they have now officially moved Hart to the non-roster spot, allowing them to replace him on the active roster.

As of right now, there's still much speculation about contract termination and whether any of these players will ever return to the NHL, but given the nature of this situation, we won't find out anytime soon.
It's very likely that people will need to wait until the legal proceedings have played out for a final determination on their contracts, but now, the Flyers have given themselves the opportunity to replace him on the roster by moving him to non-roster status.
