BREAKING: Friedman confirms Erik Karlsson is on his way out of San Jose
There's finally a breakthrough in the Erik Karlsson saga!
It looks like the San Jose Sharks finally received the offer they were waiting for.
Per Elliotte Friedman, he could be traded today to the Pittsburgh Penguins in a massive three-team trade.
"There is a legit attempt to get an Erik Karlsson trade done today. Would involve Pittsburgh, San Jose, and at least one other team to facilitate the cap gyrations. We will see how it plays outbut everyone grinding in that direction."
We don't know the details of the trade yet, but we'll keep you updated as soon as we get new information!
