Winnipeg Jets Lose Top-Line Forward Long Term
The Winnipeg Jets have lost forward Mason Appleton long-term.
Appleton, who's spent the bulk of his career in a bottom-six checking role, has seen games on the team's top-line this year. After the leadership shift in the locker room, Appleton has equally become an important voice for the team.
With Appleton out at least eight weeks, the Jets will need to find yet another option for the top-six.
It's entirely possible a trade could be coming.
