Journalist Simon-Olivier Lorange of La Presse was Yannick Bouchard's guest on Amateurs de sports, on the Cogeco network.
The two hockey experts had fun handing out the NHL awards for the summer.
Of course, Hughes received a lot of praise.
You have to admit that the Habs had a very, very good off-season. On April 30, after the last game, the pile of files was monumental on Kent Hughes' desk. I'm pretty impressed with Hughes' work this summer. He was dealing with some complex files and there was some cleaning up to do." - Simon-Olivier Lorange
Conversely, Lorange didn't like the Golden Knights' summer.
"In Las Vegas, it's a disaster. For the second time in a year, we got rid of a star player - last year it was Marc-Andre Fleury, this year it's Max Pacioretty - for... nothing. We're just erasing players from the roster who have made a tangible contribution to the team's success." - Simon-Olivier Lorange To listen to the segment:
