The Winnipeg Jets and Edmonton Oilers played an exciting game on Saturday night that ended 3-2 in overtime in favour of Winnipeg. There was a big concern in the game though.

McDavid Missing

As the third period wound down Connor McDavid had not touched the ice but remained on the bench. In fact, he did not play in the final four minutes of the game.

Oilers head coach Jay Woodcrost did have an update on Mcdavid after the game.

At least it does not sound like a long-term injury.

Gameplay

Connor McDavid played 20:48 in the game and that is with not playing in the final four minutes, and in overtime. He has two assists, two hits, one shot, was plus one, and won 66.67% of his faceoffs.
