Gary Bettman and the NHL have responded to Travis Dermott using pride tape on the shaft of his stick.
Dermott Uses Pride Tape
Earlier today when the Coyotes were facing off against the Ducks, defenseman Travis Dermott used Pride Tape on the shaft of his stick violating NHL rules.

Since Dermott went viral for doing this, the NHL has caught wind of Dermott's actions and has released a statement on the issue.
The Athletic asked if the NHL wanted to comment on the matter and this was their response:

Arizona Coyotes defenseman Travis Dermott used Pride tape on his stick in a game against the Anaheim Ducks on Saturday.
When asked if Dermott would be fined or otherwise disciplined, the NHL told The Athletic in a statement: «We will review it in due course." ⤵️
We will now await to see what Dermott's punishment is, if there is one at all, but no matter what the decision is, fans will certainly be divided.
