During the third period down 3-1 against the Tampa Bay Lightning, Matthew Knies rifled a shot home to bring the Leafs within one and getting his first as a Leaf during the regular season.
Knies was a second-round pick of the Leafs back in 2021 and has skyrocketed up rankings and is now cemented in the Leafs' top nine.
UPDATE: Knies also added on a second goal just seconds after to tie the game up at three. It was two goals in 2:22 for Knies.
