The Toronto Maple Leafs have a highly promising player emerging in their prospect pool, according to scouts.

One Toronto Maple Leafs prospect is opening eyes as he's begun to emerge as a legitimate pro talent that could make the leap to nearing an NHL pathway soon.
Prospect Tinus Luc Koblar is quietly emerging as one of the Leafs more promising prospects and is gaining rave reviews to his season so far.
Drafted 64th overall by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the 2025 NHL Entry Draft, Koblar is beginning to be noticed more and more as a quality pick.

Tinus Luc Koblar Gaining Popularity Among Scouts After Strong Performances

When Tinus Luc Koblar was drafted by Toronto, he was viewed as a raw prospect who would need some time to become a pro-ready player; but seemingly no one has told Koblar, who is playing pro hockey in Sweden.
Koblar plays for Swedish top flight club Leksands, where the Norwegian 18-year-old has three goals and five points in 21 points this season.
Leksands head coach and former NHLer Johan Hedberg admitted surprise about the emergence of Koblar, telling 'The Athletic' that his young forward could end up as their best player.
I had no idea how good Tinus was. If he keeps going like he's been going, he's going to be our best player by the end of the year. - Johan Hedberg (via The Athletic)

Recently for 'The Hockey News', Swedish prospect writer Jacob Smeds called Koblar a potential depth player in the NHL.
Even though he doesn't have elite skill, the puck seems to follow him, which often leads to scoring chances. Without the puck, he shows good compete level and discipline. If he continues to refine his positioning in the defensive zone, there is upside for Koblar as a depth player in the NHL. - Jacob Smeds/THN

Jimmy Hamrin of 'Elite Prospects' recently called Koblar a "stock riser", noting that Koblar has grown as a player in all areas of the game, and has improved his game this season.

How Tinus Luc Koblar managed to quickly become a pro talent

As noted, the question over Koblar as a prospect was that his game was quite raw compared to some other players taken in his range, but he's managed to mature his game quicker than some might have expected.
Koblar was expected to play another year in the Swedish U20 or potentially head to the OHL with the Brampton Steelheads, but managed to make Leskands roster, along with fellow Leafs prospect Victor Johansson.
Dobber Prospects scout Ethan Lindley called Koblar a player with raw tools in the site's final rankings, with the chance of him being able to improve with maturity.
Tinus Luc Koblar's package of tools is very enticing. The tall and lanky center combines sharp agility with very quick handles to exploit strong defenses. He also has moments of physicality that should only become more frequent and violent as he gets stronger. - Ethan Lindley/Dobber Prospects

It's not a surprise entirely the ability of Tinus Luc Koblar to flesh out his game, but so soon has drawn some surprise from both scouts and his own team alike, quickly becoming highly valuable in Sweden and to the Leafs prospect pool.
