Maple Leafs fans can breathe a huge sigh of relief when it comes to Matthew Knies' status for Game 7, as he was seen skating and is going to suit up for the team.

When Matthew Knies got injured in Game 6 after a reverse hit from Florida's Niko Mikkola, fans held their breath when he was seen in pain on the bench, and not really playing much otherwise and being a non-factor.
As fans anxiously waited for an update, Craig Berube had no clue, and neither did anyone else. Things were looking awful and with a crucial Game 7 in Toronto, they need him in the lineup.
So it's a good thing that not only was he seen skating, but he was in a contact jersey and is ready to go.
Everyone can exhale now.
Knies was seen on the first PP unit which also echoes the statement that the Maple Leafs are not making any changes from Game 6, meaning that no one is taking Knies' place in the lineup.
Thank goodness it wasn't anything serious to the Maple Leafs' power forward, and the fact he is good to go for Game 7 means that Toronto is going to be at its best, minus Anthony Stolarz of course.
Knies has seven points in 12 games, while adding 31 hits in 20:11 TOI.
If Knies is able to come back and be a factor for the top line, that means only good things for Auston Matthews and Mitch Marner; two players who picked things up in Game 6 and will be no doubt be under the microscope the most they ever have.
But for Knies to be back in the fold gives Toronto a huge weapon to use against Florida, and he will no doubt be on the lookout for some revenge, though the best course of action is to do that on the scoreboard.
All eyes are going to be firmly glued to screens watching Game 7 between the Maple Leafs and Panthers. It's the biggest game for Toronto in decades, and they have their unicorn back to help them through.
