Craig Berube gave a big update regarding the health of Anthony Stolarz after Sam Bennett's cheap shot in Game 1 between Florida and Toronto.

After all the dust was settled, the Toronto Maple Leafs took the first game of round two against the Florida Panthers, a great start for a team who is looking to prove their dominance in the NHL.
But it didn't come without controversy, as both Sam Bennett and Matthew Tkachuk played some less than sportsmanlike hockey.
Bennett's was most egregious, knocking Anthony Stolarz out of the game and sending him to the hospital.
At least for now it looks like Stolarz avoided any serious injury and a higher grade concussion, and while that's positive for Toronto, it still doesn't make the lack of punishment for Bennet sting any less.
Providing the health update was Brandon Carlo, who noticed Stolarz at breakfast on Tuesday, but so too did Craig Berube, who explained in very simple terms his goaltender's status.
We'll see.
It was short and to the point, but Berube's not going to give anything away regarding how Stolarz is feeling until he's 100% sure.

No Reason To Rush Anthony Stolarz Back...Yet

All we know is that he was taken to hospital and was evaluated, other than that things are up in the air, which is a terrible sign going forward.
While it would be ridiculous to rush Stolarz back, it's hard to imagine Joseph Woll being able to hold off the Panthers long enough for him to make a comeback, if he does so at all this series.
Florida isn't going to back down from how they play, especially knowing they can get away with it scot-free, and other Maple Leafs could be in danger.
Stolarz has been a huge bright spot this postseason, posting a 4-2-0 record with a 2.19 GAA and .901 SV%; for his debut as a starter everything was going swimmingly.
If Toronto is able to sneak into a 2-0 or best case scenario a 3-0 lead, they can feel a bit more confident in Woll holding it down for Stolarz in a Game 5 or 6 scenario, but if they're already up that much, just finish the job.
So far though, all we know is that Anthony Stolarz is seemingly doing alright after a very scary situation. Maple Leafs fans were holding their breath for good news and it seems they can exhale with some relief.
But we don't know for certain until he's back on the ice, whenever that may be.
