Maple Leafs Latest Goal Song Fails To Catch Fire
This season the Toronto Maple Leafs have decided to select a new goal song.
This after five years of Daryl Hall & John Oates' hit song "You Make My Dreams" rang out any time a goal was scored for the home squad.
Controversial Goal song
The Maple Leafs did use a portion of the remix of Kid Cudi's «Pursuit of Happiness» song in Wednesday's home opener. The song was shelved after complaints and concerns came in because of lyrics in the song, even as those lyrics in question did not play during the portion of the song that played.
New game, new song
Following John Tavares' second period goal, "Panama" by Van Halen played throughout Scotiabank Arena. It does not appear to be the one to really catch fire, as the Leafs were only able to score one goal and ended up losing their first game of the season.
