With the Maple Leafs and Blues being so close to the salary cap ceiling, and in Toronto's case being over the cap covered by LTIR, it may make the most sense for Chicago and St. Louis to potentially be swapping players, or perhaps the Blues are looking to offload one of the teams' expensive defensemen.
There have been rumours that St. Louis has been looking to move a few players, most of those being defensemen.
