Massive Brawl at MSG Concludes with a Whopping 66 Penalty Minutes

Following the end of the Coyotes' loss to the New York Rangers, all hell broke loose when things got more than chippy resulting in 66 PIMs.

Last night the Arizona Coyotes fell to the New York Rangers 2-1 in what was a close and chippy game.









While the Rangers won, the stat sheet filled up quickly after the game ended with a total of 66 PIMs.

Following a failed empty net opportunity for the Coyotes, things got a bit chippy resulting in over an hour of PIMs.



The following players all got 10-minute misconducts as a result of this scrum: Jacob Trouba, Barclay Goodrow, Barrett Hayton, Nick Bjugstad, and Matt Dumba.

Rangers goaltender Igor Sheshterkin also received a 2-minute minor for leaving the crease.

It is unknown if there will be anymore discipline handed out by NHL Player Safety but it is likely that the PIMs were enough for the matter.
