Maple Leafs Head Coach Sheldon Keefe Shares An Awful Update Ahead of Game vs the Islanders

The Maple Leafs have been without most of their defense so far this year and may be playing without one of their key defensemen tonight.

Keefe Confirms Lagesson Is Questionable

Tonight the Maple Leafs will face off against the New York Islanders and are expected to be missing a couple of defensemen. However, one defenseman could be making his return but it will come down to the wire if he will play or not.

Keefe confirms Lagesson is a gametime decision but the expectation is he will play tonight.

Samsonov confirmed as the starter.

Hopefully, for the Leafs, Lagesson is able to play but if not the Leafs will likely play their top 3-4 defenseman a lot more.

Puck drop is currently just over an hour away so the decision will be revealed soon.
