Brad Treliving's Next Move in Toronto is Revealed
The General Manager of the Toronto Maple Leafs has revealed what his next move is.
Treliving's Next Move Revealed
The Maple Leafs, like other NHL teams, are getting ready for the upcoming season by making the final adjustments to their roster.
Now that most of the job is done, Treliving can start working on extending William Nylander.
"That's next on the list."
Extending Nylander
Treliving couldn't have been clearer when he was asked about William Nylander's situation.
"Willy is a really important player and a really good player, and we want to get him done, too.
He's told me he wants to be in Toronto. That's the most important thing. If there's a desire on both sides, then you should be able to come to an agreement."
It seems evident that both Treliving and Nylander will look to get this done soon, ideally before the start of the season. However, the player isn't in a hurry to finalize it.
"I still have one more year left, and that's the place I want to be. There's plenty of time to get something done."
