The Toronto Maple Leafs have yet another player with injury concerns this season
Leafs Lose Defenseman Vs Florida
The Toronto Maple Leafs suffer another blow to their defensive core as Mark Giordano left Tuesday's game vs the Florida Panthers with an upper-body injury, the team announced.
Giordano did not return for the second period after suffering an unknown injury, but the cause is unclear. Forward Mitch Marner left in the first period as well after taking a shot to the face, but later returned in the second period.
The loss is yet another blow to Toronto's defense, which has suffered already from the absences of John Klingberg and Timothy Liljegren on long-term injury reserve, and missed periods of time this season to Connor Timmins & Jake McCabe.
Giordano, 40, has 1 Goal and 5 Points in 19 Games for the Maple Leafs this season, his third year with Toronto.
