Kyle Dubas has placed a former Maple Leaf on waivers after a relatively strong season. It was just announced that Kyle Dubas, the current GM and President of the Pittsburgh Penguins, has placed forward Radim Zohorna on waivers.

Zohorna has 3 goals and 7 points this season in 31 games with the Maple Leafs. He played in 2 games with the Leafs in 2022-23 scoring one goal.

He was originally brought to Toronto via trade and was signed by Dubas last offseason.

Placed on NHL waivers today: Radim Zohorna (PIT).

The Leafs now have the opportunity to claim him and if they believe he could be a good bottom-six forward, they will certainly run that risk.
