Kyle Dubas has placed a former Toronto Maple Leaf on waivers after a relatively strong season.

Dubas Places Zohorna On Waivers

It was just announced that Kyle Dubas, the current GM and President of the Pittsburgh Penguins, has placed forward Radim Zohorna on waivers.

Placed on NHL waivers today: Radim Zohorna (PIT).

Zohorna has 3 goals and 7 points this season in 31 games with the Maple Leafs. He played in 2 games with the Leafs in 2022-23 scoring one goal.

He was originally brought to Toronto via trade and was signed by Dubas last offseason.

The Leafs now have the opportunity to claim him and if they believe he could be a good bottom-six forward, they will certainly run that risk.
