Vasilevskiy has been one of the most consistent stars in the NHL having career averages of a .919 SV% and 2.52 GAA.

Vasilevskiy has played in 60+ games three times in his career and in each of the past two seasons.

Vasilevskiy also has some hardware with the 2020-21 Conn Smyth and the 2019 Vezina Trophy.

The Lightning will certainly be cautious with how they handle this injury as if Vasilevskiy is injured any longer than day-to-day, the Lightning could risk losing the playoffs.
