He seems to miss much more games than the average player, but, this past season with the Columbus Blue Jackets, he missed almost the entire season. It now appears, per a post from the player's girlfriend, that things are getting worse.

Patrik Laine has been with his girlfriend for years, so she should undoubtedly know better than to release this type of content publicly. We are sure Patrik Laine's agency isn't thrilled!
Knowing how prominent Patrik Laine rumours have become, this is another worrying aspect to teams looking to acquire the former Winnipeg Jets second overall pick. If Laine can't stay consistently healthy, who knows how much longer he has left in the NHL.
