The NHL is an ever changing league. Players come in and others go out. Now one former First Round pick is looking to make his way back after a year away.

Former Top Prospect

Tyler Ennis was selected in the First Round of the 2008 NHL Draft. He then went on to spend 8 years with the Buffalo Sabres before bouncing around to a few other teams. According to a report from an Edmonton Oilers insider Ennis is considering a return to the NHL.

Tyler Ennis was at Perry Pearn's 3on3 camp and hearing he might get PTO, maybe from Western based team. Still has irons in fire back in Switzerland where he played last season. - Jim Matheson

The contract would likely be a PTO.

Can Ennis Contribute?

In his career so far Ennis has played a total of 700 games. In that time he has 346 points and 144 goals.

It's currently unknown if the rumors are truly going to turn into interest. If Ennis is genuinely interested in a return there will likely be interest in having a veteran like him in the locker room.
