The Anaheim Ducks and Buffalo Sabres have started off trade season with a minor deal.
Lyubushkin Traded to Anaheim
The Sabres will send defenseman Ilya Lyubushkin to the Anaheim Ducks in exchange for a 4th round pick. Lyubushkin will fit nicely in Anaheim as they continue their rebuild, and Buffalo will gain some valuable cap space.

https://twitter.com/frank_seravalli/status/1692711789585117217?s=20

Trade: #NHLDucks acquire D Ilya Lyubushkin. To Anaheim: Ilya Lyubushkin To #Sabres: 2025 4th Rd Pick (MIN) Anaheim had previously acquired that pick at the 2023 trade deadline for John Klingberg. While this deal isn't the most consequential, it is nice to finally see some action in the hockey world!
