Boston Bruins Brad Marchand leaves his team
Captain Marchand Leaves the Bruins for Family Reasons
The Boston Bruins annouced that Brad Marchand is taking a leave of absence from the team to attend to his grandmother's funeral.
It was also revealed that Marchand should be back for Thursday's game against the Sabres.
"Brad Marchand returned home for services for his grandmother Frances O'Leary, who passed away last Friday. He's expected back for Thursday's game against Buffalo"
We'd also like to extend our condolences to the Marchand family in these difficult times.
