RUMOUR: NHL Expansion to a Surprising City Seemingly Inevitable
Since the Coyotes and the NHL lost their vote on the new arena in Arizona, rumors of relocation have been swirling.
Places like Houston, Atlanta, and Quebec City were at the center of those rumors, but now, according to an insider, the most likely destination has been revealed.
Front-Running City
According to Eklund from Hockey Buzz, the next time the NHL expands, it will be to Salt Lake City.
"It's starting to look like Salt Lake City will be getting an NHL team. Some in the media are saying this is a growing inevitability..."
If the Coyotes end up staying in Arizona, it wouldn't be surprising to see a brand new team headed to Salt Lake City.
