The Pittsburgh Penguins' window with Sidney Crosby, Evgeny Malking and Kris Letang is slowly closing and if they want to win another Stanley Cup with that core of players, the new management, led by Kyle Dubas, will have a lot of work to do.
One of the things they'll have to do is correct Ron Hextall's huge mistake by getting rid of Mikael Granlund.
Potential Buyout
It's safe to say that a lot of people were confused when Hextall traded a second round pick for Granlund.
Now that Hextall is gone and the Dubas wants to make the team as good as possible, we could see Granlund being bought out.
It would benefit the team greatly to do so. They'd save a lot of money for the next two years, only to repay a fraction of that money in the two years after.
