The Leafs played one of their better games against the Rangers on Tuesday night, cleaning up their road trip to New York with a nice 7-3 victory. The excitement on the ice was not enough for some, though, as a Leaf fan and a Rangers fan got into it after the game. The Leaf fan can be seen yelling some non-threatening chirps toward the crowd, which one Rangers fan took offence too.
New Yorkers are notorious for having a short fuse, and it was clearly on display here, as the Leaf fan was yelling generic chirps about traffic in the City. While nothing came of the altercation, it was still hilarious to see the Rangers Fan lose his cool over pretty much nothing.
The Leafs are on a point streak, recording at least a point in their last 7 straight games. While many are criticizing their ability to get it done in regulation, its clear the team has found a way to get points, which is all that really matters in the regular season anyway.
They will hope to continue this streak as they take on the Columbus Blue Jackets tonight, continuing the tough week that has seen them play Saturday, Monday, Tuesday, and now Thursday.
