Connor McDavid has been incredible as a member of the Edmonton Oilers thus far, but unfortunately, their lack of playoff success has led some to question his future in Alberta.

Unfortunately for the fans of every team that would love to have him, McDavid is under contract for a further two seasons, but unsurprisingly, other teams are already keeping an eye on his situation.


As someone from Ontario, many fans may have linked him to the Toronto Maple Leafs, and while that's still a long way away, they will be looking for any signs that the 26-year old could be interested.

Recently, McDavid was spotted in Toronto with Leafs captain John Tavares, and while this is common in the off-season, it's sparked some excitement that the link to Toronto could be real.


It's too early to be making links to the Leafs off of something like this, but in a quiet part of the off-season, speculation will run wild, so there's no doubt people out there that may put two and two together after this appearance.
