Rumor: Blockbuster Trade Involving William Nylander
The negotiations between the Maple Leafs and William Nylander have reportedly hit a wall.
There have been no news updates for weeks now, and everything suggests that Brad Treliving is considering trading him.
Nylander is a great player, and if he gets traded, the Leafs could receive a sweet package in return.
A blockbuster trade is rumored to be in the works between the Maple Leafs and the San Jose Sharks.
Nylander to San Jose?
The website Hockey Buzz linked Nylander to the San Jose Sharks and Erik Karlsson, the most coveted player on the trade market.
According to the owner of the website, Eklund, the New York Islanders were also interested in Nylander, but the Leafs are reportedly eyeing the latest Norris winner in San Jose instead.
He also revealed that the Penguins and the Hurricanes are ready to make offers to acquire Karlsson, but the Sharks would prefer dealing with the Leafs to get Nylander.
