Calgary Flames' Trade Demands Finally Revealed for Chris Tanev

According to Lebrun, the Flames are not in a particular hurry to move Tanev. Rather, it seems the team would prefer to trade him at the deadline with the hopes of more teams bidding on him would increase his value.

However, any team can potentially get Tanev right now if the price is right. According to Lebrun, that price may be a 1st round draft pick. Lebrun frames the question from the point of view of the Leafs, who have been the team most linked to Tanev this season.

Any trade involving Tanev may be on hold though as the defenseman left his last game early with an apparent injury.
