Today it was announced by several sources that the New York Islanders and New Jersey Devils have made a trade. In the trade, the New York Islanders receive Tyce Thompson while the Devils get back Arnaud Durandeau.

With this trade, the Islanders bring in the brother of superstar Tage Thompson with Tyce. In 15 games in the AHL this season Tyce has 5 points. In return, the Devils get back Arnaud Durandeau who has 4 points in 12 games in the AHL.
Both 24-year-old forwards will get a fresh start in new organizations. The opportunites they get will determine who ends up the winner of this trade.
