Another trade for the Philadelphia Flyers has been shut down, ultimately throwing team management for a true loop.

DeAngelo Stays Put

Breaking news has broken that the original Tony DeAngelo trade to send him back to his former Carolina Hurricanes has been refused its approval by the NHL. Concerns have arisen of Carolina taking DeAngelo back on a salary retained deal within a year of the initial trade.

What Do They Do Now

An option that the two teams are faced with are to wait and fully complete the deal on July 9th, when the originated trade hits its full year requirement. Otherwise, the Flyers ownership is ultimately faced with another struggle of not being able to complete a trade.
