Tij Iginla, son of Jarome Iginla gets drafted by the WHL

Thursday was a wonderful day for the Iginla family as Jarome's son Tij was drafted into the WHL. The Seattle Thunderbirds selected Tij in the ninth round.
Tij Iginla, 15, has been playing with his Hockey Hall of Fame father's Rink Hockey Academy Kelowna U18. Tij has eleven points (six goals, five assists) and four penalty minutes in ten games.
He also played for Team British Columbia in the 2021-22 WHL Cup. He has two goals, one assist and four penalty minutes in five games.
