Toffoli, Chiarot, and Gallagher are among the twenty-five players on Sportsnet's Jeff Marek's list of potential trade prospects.
"Ben Chiarot: Can Montreal obtain a first-round pick for the blueliner? Yes, if your club is hoping to make a deep playoff run said Sportsnet Marek»
Marek stated of Brendan Gallagher, "Has publicly expressed disinterest in a rebuild. He's a heart and soul player (with amazing underlying numbers so both camps win), and clubs dream of having him in the mix."
Marek asked "Does Toffoli, like Gallagher, want to be a part of the rebuilding process if the Habs go that route? He didn't sign up for this when he joined the Habs."
On Jeff Marek's list are Filip Forsberg, John Klingberg, Marc-Andre Fleury and Vladimir Tarasenko
