The Maple Leafs have finally found their number 1 defenseman
It's official, Sheldon Keefe has sent a message to Kyle Dubas! He is clearly telling him: «Get me a dman or I am putting Marner on defense».

Sheldon Keefe says that Marner has been practicing on a pair with Morgan Rielly, and that they will incorporate him as a defenseman at times this year 😳👀
The Leafs have been experimenting with Marner on the backend for a while, as he's had experience being their secondary powerplay defenseman for quite some time. Keefe says they may not use him at even strength «super often», but it's «great» to have someone with the toolset of Marner to have the option for extra offense if necessary.
