The Winnipeg Jets have no less than seven players injured, including five forwards.
However, Quebec's Pierre-Luc Dubois is not injured and is taking full advantage of the situation.
Jets head coach Rick Bowness has promoted Dubois to the first line with Kyle Connor and Sam Gagner.
Dubois, who will become a restricted free agent at the end of the season before becoming an unrestricted free agent in the summer of 2024, has 38 points in 35 games this season.
He is on pace for a career high.
