Carolina Hurricanes head coach Rob Brind'Amour seems to have had enough of his young player Jesperi Kotkaniemi and has given him another strong message.
The Finn has had several chances since the beginning of the season, playing a few times in the top six.
When GM Don Waddell decided to let Vincent Trocheck go last summer, the goal was to give KK more ice time and put him as the team's second centre.
Unfortunately, nothing has worked since the beginning of the season. With 10 points in 35 games, he is not worthy of a third overall pick in 2018.
In Tuesday's game, the 22-year-old centre played, again, on the fourth line.
Will he ever get the message?
