The Vegas Golden Knights advanced to the Stanley Cup playoffs after defeating the Colorado Avalanche 6-3 in Game 6 of their second-round series on Thursday night. As a result, they'll play the Montreal Canadiens next. The Habs, typically an Eastern Conference team, would meet a Western Conference team in the semi-finals, which no one could have predicted before the outbreak.

Not only will the victor of this round go to the Stanley Cup final, but they will also be awarded the Clarence S. Campbell Bowl. Despite their 24 Stanley Cup victories, the Canadiens have never won this award. This is due to the conferences, and if the Habs defeat the Golden Knights, the will make history.
The Habs will be the first NHL team to cross the border this season when they go to Vegas for the first two games of the series. The NHL was given an exemption from the 14-day quarantine by the federal authorities for the final two rounds of the playoffs.
This series is full of new twists and turns, and we can't wait to see what it has in store for fans next.
