The Montreal Canadiens have allegedly invited forward Tag Bertuzzi to their rookie camp.
Bertuzzi, 20, is the son of former NHLer Todd Bertuzzi, well known for his time with the Vancouver Canucks and the infamous Steve Moore incident. Tag is also the cousin of Detroit Red Wings forward Tyler Bertuzzi.
The OHL suspended and eventually cancelled the 2020-21 season, preventing Bertuzzi from playing. He recorded 25 goals and 47 points in 57 games with the Hamilton Bulldogs. His goal total that season was second only to L.A. Kings prospect Arthur Kaliyev.
