The Chicago Blackhawks are clearly in the running to draft Connor Bedard next year.
After announcing that they will not sign Dylan Strome and Dominick Kubalik, Kyle Davidson announced that he will buy out the contracts of Brett Connolly and Henrik Borgstrom.
Here are the players under contract for next season:
Patrick Kane, Jonathan Toews, Tyler Johnson, Sam Lafferty, Lukas Reichel, Mike Hardman, Mackenzie Entwistle, Reese Johnson, Boris Katchouk and Taylor Raddysh.
This is what we call a real rebuild.
