According to insider Craig Morgan, the Arizona Coyotes are looking for a second goalie for the upcoming season.
Morgan says the team's general manager, Bill Armstrong, is reportedly keeping a close eye on the ballot, following the various training camps.
His number one target would be Washington Capitals goaltender and former Canadiens goaltender Charlie Lindgren.
Lindgren, 28 years old, had a lot of success last season in the NHL, but especially in the AHL.
In 34 games with the Springfield Thunderbirds, Lindgren maintained a 2.21 goals-against-average and .921 save percentage. In five games with the St. Louis Blues, he had a 1.21 goals-against-average and a 92.5% save percentage.
