Dallas Stars owner Tom Gaglardi was quick to express his disappointment with Jamie Benn and Tyler Seguin in an interview.

« With these contracts, they need to bring more to the table. It's getting a little pathetic at this point.

I think these guys signed these contracts and they need to find a way to provide that kind of value," Gaglardi said. "If they don't, it hinders the team. That's the reality of it. They know that. I've talked to Jamie, he knows he's got to find more. He's working hard this summer. I met him in Dallas after the season ended. He knows what he has to do... These guys know they have to bring more. »

Seguin has five years left at $9.85 million per year, while Benn has three years at $9.5 million annually.

In 82 games last season, Benn had 46 points, while Seguin had 49 points in 81 games.
