According to what Jimmy Murphu of MontrealHockeyNow.com reports, a source who works in the NHL says that forward Christian Dvorak is expected to leave the team, by the start of next season.
« His name has been out there since the trade deadline and I'm hearing it even more right now. I can't see how Dvorak can start the season with the Canadiens. There's a lot more than just smoke right now and with his fairly reasonable contract, there are several teams, especially cup contenders who need a center, interested in him!" - Jimmy Murphy's NHL Source
The source in question knows that three teams have spoken with Hughes for Dvorak.
With more or less $250,000 available on the payroll and with Kirby Dach to sign, the Habs will definitely have to make a move in the next few weeks.
