TVA Sports hockey analyst Yvon Pedneault dropped a bomb about Montreal Canadiens forward Sean Monahan.

According to his information, the Boston Bruins would like to acquire the Canadiens centre by the trade deadline:

"Sean Monahan is attracting attention," analyst Yvon Pedneault began by saying.

"I'm told the Boston Bruins are reaching out right now in the Monahan file."

"Several other teams could be tempted to acquire him. Sean Monahan is a candidate for the title of interesting rental player," he added.

"The centre position is always in high demand at this time of year.
